Teaching ESL students is very dear to me because I also was taking ESL classes when I first moved to the US as a child. My parents also took ESL classes to learn English. Because of my own experience, I understand exactly what the students are going through as they are learning another language. I also have an easy way to connect with them. Hi there!

My name is Humann (pronounced "whomon") and I look forward to being your teacher! I have a Bachelor's Degree from UCLA in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology.  I was born in Germany and later moved to the US when I was 10. I am fluent in English, German, Farsi (Persian), y un poquito Espanol. Two of the subjects I love to teach are Math and English. I know Math is not everybody's favorite subject but I like to make teaching a fun experience so you'll have an easier time learning the material. I have over 4 years of teaching experience and I look forward to helping you!
