I am a classical concert pianist so I primarily teach classical piano to students of all ages, but I can also teach some pop music for the piano if the student wishes. I give much importance to teaching proper piano technique (hand posture, finger work etc.) so the piano playing will become an enjoyable experience for the student.

Hrant Bagrazyan was born on October 17th 1985 in Yerevan, Armenia. He has received his Artist Diploma from Yerevan State Conservatory in 2007; Professional Studies Diploma, Artist Diploma and Master in Music degree from Cleveland Institute of Music in 2011, 2014 and 2016 respectively (studios of Artist-In-Residence Sergei Babayan and Professor HaeSun Paik). Since August 2017 Hrant is pursuing his Doctoral of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance at Michigan State University College of Music (studio of Associate Professor Margarita Shevchenko).
Hrant Bagrazyan has played concerts in Armenia, Belgium, Poland and United States.
In 2004 after his victory in George Saradjev National Piano Competition Hrant appeared in his debut as a soloist with an orchestra performing Sergei Prokofiev’s 3rd Piano Concerto with Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. In 2007 Hrant performed Aram Khachaturian’s Piano Concerto with Youth State Orchestra of Armenia. In 2014 Hrant made his U.S. orchestral debut performing Johannes Brahms’s 1st Piano Concerto with Kankakee Valley Symphony Orchestra. Highlights of 2017-18 season include the appearance as the soloist in Beethoven 4th Piano Concerto with Heights Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Domenico Boyagian and the recital at Carnegie Hall Weil Recital Hall.
Besides performing in orchestra concerts and solo recitals Hrant also participated in music festivals, most notably as a guest performer at the gala concert of Sergei Babayan International Academy in 2013.
