Teaching privately for years.  I love beginners and anyone who wants to perfect the craft of learning the cello. I also compose and sing, so if this interests you I can also guide you . But technical's basics are the most important, I can describe and show you a great technique and mastery over the instrument.

I am great with beginners. I am very clear how to play, how to practice and I have great techniques to get better faster.  I have been teaching for over 20 years.
I perform , write music as well so i am versed in many ways. 
I have studied with some of the greatest musicians, and have performed with many different types of artists. I can really help someone who would like to learn the cello. I love to teach and I want to connect to my students and make it is fun as well as give them the proper technique. I am a New England Conservatory Graduate as well as a Fulbright Scholar.

I have been performing  the cello since I was 7 years old. I have had some of the best teachers and I am happy to pass along the great lineage of cello playing. From the Janos Starker school, I studied with Nella Hunkins, Allan Harris, Ron Leaonard as well as David Wells, Irene Sharp, and Ralph Kirschbaum. I have created some great ways to understand the cello better and great ways of explaining how to practice and advance as a cellist. I have performed all over the Us and have diversified myself to play Jazz and Pop as well as write music. So I have a wide range of styles and can help you branch out as well. Of course good habits and great structure is the first way to become a great cellist.
