I am a professional artist and jewelry designer. I graduated in 2013 from The School of Visual Arts in New York City, NY.
I founded my company, Rare Bits Jewelry in 2011, and my work has been featured in Belle Armoire magazine and Jewelry Affaire magazine. I am passionate about metal smithing and jewelry design, and love sharing skills and knowledge amongst other designers and those aspiring!
I teach my students in an amazing local metal smithing studio, where I can offer access to high quality shop equipment such as:
natural gas/oxygen soldering station with 4 torch heads
foredam rotary tool working station with 4 flex shafts
2 buffing stations with buffing compounds
pounding and forming station with hammers, bench blocks and forming mandrels
tool cabinet filled with files, pliers, vices, clamps, chasing tools, forming tools, etc.
forging staton with various anvils
I am also an experience collector of American turquoise and Native American Estate Jewelry, and travel the US in search of top quality turquoise for my own designs.
I can't wait to share my passion and excitement for jewelry design with you!
