About Holly C.
Experience
Alexander Technique Teacher
Jan, 2015 - PresentAmerican Center for Alexander Technique
After completing both my supervisory private teaching and my training at ACAT, I have made time to volunteer weekly to help further teach and train the current trainees alongside one of my own senior trainers as a means of continuing learning from him as well as learning through doing (as in teaching!). Working with more advanced students of the technique that are enrolled in teacher training helps me refine my own understanding of the philosophy as well as physical hands-own aspects of working with students as I can try new assists and ideas and get safe, helpful feedback.
Vice President of Sales: Intellectual Talent Agent
Mar, 2012 - PresentThe Lavin Agency
Representing the best artistic, entrepreneurial and intellectual talent on the circuit today, I am an experienced purveyor of ideas in the creative space partnering with leading corporations, arts institutions and universities to curate lectures, workshops and talks from the leading figure of the day. From Salman Rushdie and Neri Oxman to Salman Khan and Jared Diamond, I curate programs that help to "make the world a smarter place" and thusly have keen insight into the world of TED and all the subsequent ideas festivals/talks it has spawned (as we're the official agency partner of TED and represent a wide swath of its most popular speakers). If you're an entrepreneur, a creative, an intellectual or anyone with a story to tell; I can help you not only refine your physical/vocal use on stage, but can also lend keen insight into the crafting of speech and platform so to launch a successful speaking career.
