Hello fellow string enthusiasts!! My name is Hollie, and I am a professional violist (sometimes violinist!) and I am so excited to be joining TakeLessons! I am currently finishing my Doctorate in Viola Performance under the study of Susan Dubois at the University of North Texas with a related field in Performing Arts Health. I completed my BM and MM at the Cleveland Institute of Music under the instruction of Stanley Konopka and Mark Jackobs. As a violist and a performing arts health advocate, I instill efficient practice methods as well as body awareness exercises to help develop a higher awareness and understanding of the body while playing.
