Hi, I'm Hilary. I am a classically trained opera/classical singer who studied at Trinity College of Music in London. I have a Bachelors in Music Performance and a certification in vocal teaching from the LTCL (Trinity Guildhall Board of Music) I have experience both singing and teaching many types and styles of music. I have been performing internationally for the last 7 years and enjoy diving in wherever I can. I have experience not only as a performer/teacher but also in directing, producing, coaching, and designing shows/concerts. *** Lesson Details *** I have 15+ years of teaching experience and look forward to adding the many years to come. As a teacher I strive to keep my students motivated and working hard while having lots of fun in the process. I have experience working with many different learning styles and also have experience working with special needs youth and adults. Many of my students have said that I am enthusiastic, fun, motivating, patient, and understanding. I encourage my students to work hard through positive reinforcement and constructive criticism. I believe very strongly that a positive learning environment is the key to success. *** Studio Equipment *** I have a cd/mp3 player, a bluetooth speaker, recording devices, and an electric piano. *** Travel Equipment *** I can provide music and backing tracks if a piano is not available. I would prefer the student have both a piano and a cd/mp3 player but could work just with a cd/mp3 player if necessary. I also request the student to have a note book to take lesson notes in. *** Specialties *** I specialize in classical singing and opera vocals but have taught musical theater, jazz, rock, metal, punk, etc
