Hi there! I would love to get you rolling and strumming along. I can help you with whatever your goals are, whether you are a beginner, intermediate, advanced, or learning from scratch. I work with my different kinds of people with many different goals and interests! I also host a slow jam in the Brooklyn area that can get you playing with other banjo players, fiddlers, guitarists, singers, learning repertoire, etc.. I would love to get you started! Although I am new to this website I have been performing in NYC for 12 years and teaching banjo for 10. I am versatile and knowledgable in many different styles of banjo playing from oldtime clawhammer, scruggs style bluegrass, folk, country swing, to singer songwriter,etc.. Just let me know your thoughts! I have a bachelors and masters degree in music education. I only teach Wed-Saturday and recommend an hour lesson length.
