Classical Guitar with Henry B.

I'm a professional classical guitarist, conductor, and educator. I have performed with Grammy award winning musicians such as the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and Bill Kanengeiser. In 2018 at the Romero Institute in Oklahoma City I conducted "Los Romeros Guitar Quartet" along with virtuoso Pepe Romero. I have performed as a soloist and in ensembles throughout the western United States. I began studying classical guitar at Glendale Community College in 2008 and in 2014 I completed the Guitar Performance program at Arizona State University. In 2015 I moved to Oklahoma City where I pursued a Masters degree in Guitar Performance and graduated with high honors in 2017. Since graduating in 2017, I have worked as a classroom teacher in Title-1 public schools, served as an Artist in Residence, and regularly taught privately to students of all levels. I currently teach General Music and Guitar at a Title-1 public school in Arizona. Though, much of my focus in recent years has been on classical guitar my roots are on the electric guitar playing rock and metal. Throughout my formative years I constantly played in bands and at venues throughout Phoenix, Az. I am all about helping you learn the music that interests you and helping you reach the level that you envision. I am also knowledgeable in all the types of repertoire that are great for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players. I found myself through music as a teenager because of my teachers. My goal is to help my students find themselves through their music.
