[Education] I graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the Korea National University of Arts. After that, I came to the US to study at Mannes School of Music with Daniel Panner, and at New England Conservatory in Boston with Dimitri Murrath. I graduated in 2014 with a Master of Music from New England Conservatory. I took Masterclasses with Kim Kashkashian, Roberto Diaz, Steven Tenenbom, CJ Chang, and James Dunham. In the field of education, I completed Suzuki Teaching Certification in Hartford, CT. [Teaching experience] I am currently on the viola faculty of San Francisco Conservatory of Music pre-college. Before that, I taught at Encore Chamber Music in Cleveland. I have been teaching privately since 2005 and maintained a private studio in Boston before I moved to California. [Student successes] My students have entered into the finals of Northern California Viola Society competition, and are members of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra. In Boston, my students were members of the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Several of my students' music training contributed to them qualifying and entering prestigious higher education colleges, such as Harvey Mudd College and Brown University.
