I have over 40 years of playing piano for enjoyment and as accompanist for several musical productions and choral groups, and, 10 years of teaching experience. I can teach children or adults, and beginner to intermediate is my specialty. I also have experience with teaching special needs children (ADHD and Autism). That is why I will come to YOUR home for YOUR piano lesson. I will make it as convenient as possible for you - daytime, afternoon or evening! I love to have fun while teaching. Laughter is part of the great time we will have! I adore watching the student learn and grasp the concepts of piano and duets are a great way to get both of us involved. Each student is an individual and pace will vary with each student. We will learn using the Faber's Piano Adventure series of books. Our time will be used for learning a lesson or two from the book, a performance piece is worked on until perfected, and piano theory will be learned along the way. You will need to practice everyday and everything will noted in a workbook. Either if you have been away from the piano and need a refresher or you have the desire to learn, I am ready for you with my total interactive method. *** Studio Equipment *** Have a keyboard I can bring and extra books *** Travel Equipment *** I have a keyboard and extra books I can bring with me. I can shop for the books so they don't have to. They just need to pay for the books and I get them.
