My name is Heidi P. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in music, with an emphasis in vocal performance. I love teaching my students! We always have a fun time singing and reaching goals. I have a great passion for singing opera and classical music, but I teach vocal techniques that can be applied to any genre of music. I have been apart of many operas and performances including the roles of Maddalena in the opera Rigoletto, GrimGerde in Ride of the Valkyries, Carmen in the Opera Carmen, and Chorus in Suor Angelica, and La Traviata. I have also been in the Boise Music Week Productions of Hello Dolly, Beauty and the Beast, and Brigadoon. I let my students choose what type of music they would like to sing, I don't want to force my own style on my students because I want them to enjoy what they sing! Voice lessons are not a place for me to judge you. Is it a place for us to work together to make your voice the best it can be. Singing is a beautiful art form that is challenging but should also be fun! As I teach, I will give insight to breathing techniques, posture, and vocal anatomy in order to better understand how the voice works! Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have, I am here to help. Hope to hear from you soon!+ Read More
I've been teaching voice lessons for about 3 years now! I have learned so much, about how to interact with people, but most importantly, how to become a better teacher. There is nothing more exciting and rewarding for me than helping a student realize they can open up their voice and sing in ways they never thought possible.+ Read More

I LOVE Heidi:-) It has been a little over 3 years since I have taken formal lessons and I was so happy that I found Heidi. Not only is she qualified but her prices are perfect for grad students who have very little money to spare but still want to train with a quality vocal coach. She is encouraging and is always sincerely excited about the progress you make. She teaches with clarity and helps you understand how to bring out your best voice:-) I love it!+ Read More

Heidi is a great teacher. She knows how to teach all the skills I need for singing and also, makes me feel comfortable when I sing. I was always so nervous when I sang in front of anyone but she has helped me feel less nervous and encouraged me a lot.
I have had fun with her through the lessons. 45-minute-lesson ends so quickly. She makes my day once a week.
Amazing lesson! I can't wait for next week
Beautiful energy, talent and guidance
Perfect foundation to learn techniques, breathing, voice inflection and control, I am really excited and can't wait for my next session. Great teacher!
Heidi is sweet, positive, patient, and encouraging! I started without any experience in singing before taking lessons with Heidi and I can hear the improvement in the way that I sing. She isn't pushy and is willing to work with your own pace. Whenever we're singing or doing breathing exercises, she'll give you analogies to help you understand what you're doing more. I always look forward to her lessons and I'll definitely keep on taking lessons from Heidi! :)+ Read More
Heidi is very positive and patient, and very encouraging. I enjoyed my lessons with her.
Heidi is the best! From the second I walked into her quaint home, I was enamored by the positive energy she put off and the excitement she had towards helping me achieve my musical goals.
Heidi began our lessons by getting to know me personally, my current musical status, my goals with her and my goals with music in general. It is very endearing to see someone with so much passion, not just for music, but for teaching! Heidi is the fun teacher that everyone likes. She is very humble and kind, and I just can't imagine someone not getting along with her.
Her advice is ideal constructive criticism, never did I feel pressured to sing a certain way or embarrassed if I wasn't hitting my notes properly. She seems to know exactly what to tweak, what mindset to embrace, and what metaphors to use to illustrate better singing. One of these is with singing high notes, she told me to imagine my voice travelling down instead of up, and it made a world of difference!
Heidi knows that proper singing is achieved with breath control and openness in the throat and vocal area, and with this method anyone can become a great singer. On top of all this, she has the BEST price in the entire Inland Empire! If you are just starting or getting back into singing, or if you feel insecure about your voice but don't know where to start, call Heidi. You won't need to look for another voice teacher ever again, I promise. :)
Heidi is so natural with her instruction and really takes time to get to know you and your voice. I feel so much more confident when I leave my lesson. I hear the improvement in my singing. She's one of the best and will help you reach your goal in every lesson! I will definitely keep doing lessons with her :)+ Read More
