Crocheting with Heather M.

I have been crocheting for about 3 years, and I love to share my passion with others! I have taught several friends and family members but I joined TakeLessons to try to branch out and teach others. in my day job, I am a project coordinator for an IT company, so crochet allows a great creative outlet when I am outside of work. We would be a good fit if you are looking for someone easygoing, but will stick with you until you get the hang of it. I will also teach you about how to shop for yarn, different types of crochet hooks and what might be best for you, and what to look for when finding patterns online, and we can crochet-a-long on your a project if you happen to get stuck, or would just like someone there to help if needed. I recommend a 60 minute session for the first lesson, and a 90-120 minute session for a lesson when working on a project. You can also use lesson time if you need help finding a pattern or picking out supplies at the craft store. For in-person lessons, I have Foundation Grounds in Maplewood as my location, but I have other cafe locations in the area we could meet. I would also be happy to meet at a craft store for the first lesson to help pick out supplies if in-person.
