Hi! I'm Heather, an organist, pianist, and choral conductor I studied at Oberlin College and Conservatory, double majoring in Organ and French. I then spent two years living and studying in the Paris area, studying at the Conservatoire de Versailles. I believe that learning should be fun and rewarding. I like to use other subjects, such as math, art, science and literature to augment my teaching. Music education should be fun, challenging and rewarding. In my spare time, I enjoy knitting, sewing and engaging in other creative pursuits.

I loved my first lesson with Heather! She was very excited and engaged, and paid very close attention to the details. She also takes into consideration that I'm learning as a hobby, and approaches her teaching with that in mind. Heather is also very encouraging, and I'm excited for my next lesson.
