Hi! I'm Heather, an organist, pianist, and choral conductor I studied at Oberlin College and Conservatory, double majoring in Organ and French. I then spent two years living and studying in the Paris area, studying at the Conservatoire de Versailles. I believe that learning should be fun and rewarding. I like to use other subjects, such as math, art, science and literature to augment my teaching. Music education should be fun, challenging and rewarding. In my spare time, I enjoy knitting, sewing and engaging in other creative pursuits.
I direct choirs of all ages (3-5, 6-12, 13 and up), play the organ and piano weekly, and plan special concerts and other events.
Experience with all ages, levels.
I give organ lessons to anyone interested in the King of Instruments! Focus of pedal playing, reading music, proper keyboard technique, and music career advancement.
