I have been playing flute for over 20 years and have a Bachelors of Science in Music Education from Missouri State University. I've taught band for 2 years and music lessons for 5 years. I am able to play and teach with mastery, all of the wind instruments, percussion instruments, guitar, piano, and violin. Your lesson will be based on the instrument you want to learn and will be taught in the way you learn best! We will start off with the method book that best suits you and finding out what you already know. I will teach you how to write and read music, how to practice, and mastery of your chosen instrument! You will also get a progress report every month showing what you're doing great at and what you need to work on! Come take lessons with me and fill that check mark on your bucket list! *** Lesson Details *** You will learn mastery of your chosen instrument. Choose from wind instruments, percussion, piano, guitar, or violin. You will be taught how to write and read music, mastery of your chosen instrument, and practice skills along with correct technique. *** Studio Equipment *** I set up every lesson with two comfy chairs, a stand and if playing piano, a keyboard with stand. I have guitar stands for me and my student. and an extra book just in case! *** Specialties *** I specialize in meeting the students needs. I find out what their learning style is and strive to help them succeed.
