Gospel Singing with Heather D.

Heather has a passion and love of teaching VOICE. Her goal is to have each student sing with ease, confidence and joy. She will work with you on Contemporary styles such as Pop, Jazz, Gospel, Musical Theatre, Blues, Americana, R&B and Country. Heather tailors each lesson specifically to each student's goals. She will work with you on vocalizations, technique, breath support, control, vocal placement, vowels, phrasing, harmony, songwriting, tricks to keep the vocal chords closed, mic technique, dissecting a lyric, emotional delivery, "getting in your body" while performing, and most importantly, CONFIDENCE! Heather is a professionally trained Voice Coach and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She has 15 years of experience in the music business as a successful Session Vocalist, Live Vocalist and Songwriter. Her voice has been featured national commercials, feature films and on recordings/albums for Grammy Award Winning Artists.
