    I married my husband on June 28, 1997. We have four children. Our oldest daughter was born on August 15, 2001 and was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. I quit working to stay home and devote more time to her and her needs. In 2003 we had boy/girl twins and life took on a hectic business. As they grew older, I decided to homeschool my brood. We moved from Colorado to Indiana to be closer to my husband’s ailing mother and the slower pace of life has allowed me time to cultivate my interest in gardening, cooking, and sewing! In 2013, we traveled to China and adopted our second daughter with Down Syndrome. PLEASE NOTE: I SPECIALIZE IN WORKING WITH KIDS WHO HAVE LEARNING DEFICIENCIES AND WHO ARE STRUGGLING TO KEEP UP IN SCHOOL. I will be more than happy to assess your child and let you know if I am the right tutor for you, but will also be honest with you and tell you when you should pursue someone who works with the more on track child or those who need someone face face.
