Chinese cellist Haoxuan is one of the most exceptionally gifted musicians in his generation with strong technique and an emotional flair that brings his cello to life. He joined Redlands Symphony Orchestra from 2017. He has been studying cello since the age of eight with Mingqing Yu at Central Conservatory of Music Middle School. Haoxuan continued his education at the world-renowned Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China. Also, He has taken masterclasses with Liwei Qin, Professor of Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music Schools; and Olaf Maninger, Principal Cellist of the Berliner Philharmonic. Haoxuan came to study in United States on full scholarship at Azusa Pacific University with Dr. Marek Szpakiewicz. He was chosen to perform J.S. Bach's suite No.6 in c minor in 2014 in the 1st Annual Collaborative Bach Recital, in which Dr. Szpakiewicz ' s studio performed alongside the violin studio at USC under Midori Goto. I have been teaching cello for 8 years. I love working with students of all ages and any levels.

A slight language barrier, but Haoxuan is very patient and supporting. I would highly recommend him to all who want to learn the Cello
