My name is Hans and I am the quintessential do-it-
yourselfer. I’ve loved woodworking for about 20 years now and have finished my first tiny house on wheels (see photos below). It's a beauty if I do say so myself. Before I devoted full time to the design and completion of the tiny house, I apprenticed under an expert cabinet builder and trim carpenter to hone my skills in the trade. My ideal student may be somewhat or completely new to woodworking and wants to dive in with their first project. Maybe you have already gotten your hands dirty with a few projects but want to progress to a more difficult task but need guidance. What would you like to build? Whatever the case, look no further.
At your service,
Designed and constructed a 24 foot tiny house on wheels. This project drew on my skills in:
- Metal work
- Windows and Siding
- Metal Roofing
- Trim Carpentry
- Carpentry Design and Function
- Wood Floors
- Interior Carsiding
- Closet Systems
The position served to hone my skill set in fine trim carpentry and cabinetry. It equipped me to finish the tiny house at an even more experience and excellent level.
Hans is articulate and prepared. He has patience and is attuned to my individual needs. It's only been my first class but I'm looking forward to the rest!
Woodwork is going to be grand with this travelling guy, always patient and thoughtful, make sure you do your homework!
Hans is a great woodworker! I wanted to hire him to do the trim work in my new house - but the scoundrel moved on me! I helped Hans do some work on the tiny house he built, he was very patient with me as he explained tool use and how the pieces I was working on fit together. He also built a beautiful bench for my new home that is extremely unique.+ Read More
