Hey there! My name is Hannah, I have been teaching piano for about 7 years, and over that time had 15 students. They were all completely new to the piano (and music in general), but over time were able to read music, understand simple technique/theory, and play music both at home and in church. I love being able to take a completely new student who is willing to learn, and see him/her learn to enjoy (yes, enjoy ;) playing the piano.
My brother (Matt) and I have started a website where piano lessons, original compositions, and skype lessons are available. I have been teaching for about 7 years. I have also had the opportunity to compete nationally, and made it to finals 4 times throughout highschool.+ Read More
My kids absolutely love Hannah as their piano teacher. She relates to each one individually and on their maturity level. They are always eager for lessons and to be with her. We loved having Hannah in our home to teach our children each week. She was always cheerful and the kids warmed up to her quickly. They learned so much and in a fun way! She was always prepared and on time.
Hannah is an awesome piano instructor. My daughter Cadence loves her. Hannah plays the piano beautifully. Her method of teaching has helped Cadence catch on really well.
Hannah is very sweet and gets along great with my daughter. They are having fun, and learning at the same time.
I love the hour-long lessons. It feels like there is actually time to do something...rather than rushing through a 30 minute session. They actually have time to discuss WHY something works the way it does, and I think it helps to cement the important concepts.
We have only had 2 lessons with Hannah so far, but my daughter is really enjoying it. The one-hour lessons seem to be a huge benefit. (30 minutes seemed to be over before they even began.)
I am hopeful that Hannah will be able to inspire my daughter to love piano even more than she seems to now.
