    About Hannah L.

Hannah is an active soloist, chamber musician, and teacher based in New York City. This summer, Hannah will begin playing bass clarinet with the New York Chamber Players Orchestra. She currently performs as a soloist and with a new clarinet, cello, and piano trio. Hannah is especially interested in collaborating with other musicians and performing new music. In Spring 2016, she traveled to Port of Spain, Trinidad with members of the Virginia Tech Clarinet Studio to perform concerts with an emphasis on electronic music in collaboration with the clarinet studio at the University of Trinidad and Tobago. Other highlights include performances at Carnegie Hall, National Academy for Performing Arts (Trinidad), and Moss Arts Center (VA.) Hannah currently teaches clarinet, saxophone, flute, and piano lessons. Many of her students have been selected for various honor bands and competitions, with some going on to pursue music at the collegiate level. She has worked with students between the ages of 4-83 from beginner to advanced levels, always ensuring that each lesson is catered to meet the individualized needs of the student. Hannah has a Master of Music degree in Clarinet Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Clarinet Performance and Music Education from Virginia Tech. Her primary teachers were Ronald Aufmann and Dr. Phillip O. Paglialonga.
