About Hannah L.

After studying piano for almost 10 years I decided to learn a new instrument and began taking violin lessons when I was 16 years old. In spite of being told that I was “too old” to learn to play the violin, I continued practicing and one year later I joined my first orchestra. In 2011 I moved to Boston to pursue a career in music and in 2016 I graduated with a BA in Music from the University of Massachusetts Boston. While in college, I joined Boston-based fusion rock band " The Sunset Kings" on the fiddle and performed with them from coast to coast in the US. In November of 2018 I debuted my own solo project "Hannah Schzde" with my first single in Spanish called "Ni Una Más", which is now available in every music streaming service world-wide!

In addition to offering private violin and piano lessons and teaching music at different public schools in the Boston Area, I am also a studio violinist and perform with different orchestra pits while I continue to write and record new material for my upcoming debut EP set to be released in the fall of 2020!

Hannah does a wonderful job with my daughter, she started with how to tune and set up the violin. Hannah does a great job working with my daughter showing her the proper technique and providing her exercises and activities to do in between lessons. You can tell Hannah loves teaching and music.

Hannah is a very dedicated and patient instructor. She always tries to keep the lessons interesting and fun, she also makes sure I take little stretch breaks in between exercises and always teaches me something new!
