Violin with Hannah J.

I have been playing violin for 24 years and teaching for 10. I have performed for weddings and special occasions around the Louisville, Lexington, and Southern Indiana areas. My husband and I live in Shelbyville and are expecting a daughter in November. I teach at my home and at a church in Louisville. My schedule will be changing after my baby is born and I will be more flexible. I use the Suzuki method of playing for my beginner students but also try to incorporate any music genres that the individual student enjoys. My goal is to not only advance the student in violin technique and music theory but also instill a love of the instrument and art in general. I studied for many years with a Julliard graduate and have a minor degree in music from Judson College.
