As a BurdaStyle sewing instructor I will teach you the Burda way of garment sewing.  We will begin with an introduction to a sewing machine for a beginners class. Before we start the student will be able to select a BurdaStyle PDF sewing pattern provided by me (this is included in the class price) and we will sew this garment together. You will be helped with fabric selection as well which could be done in person at a local fabric store. I believe in getting right into learning to read a pattern and constructing a garment. To get the most out of making a garment it would be best to take multiple classes and it will be an on going process to finish your garment.  I look forward to helping you learn to love sewing! It’s a very rewarding skill to have!

I have been sewing for 3 years.  I became of Certified BurdaStyle sewing instructor in January of 2018 and continue to educate myself and improve my skills so I can pass that on to my students.  Sewing is a passion of mine and I want to make it a passion of yours too.  Let me help you build confidence in yourself by learning a new skill, one that lets you be creative and express yourself.  So lets get started. Its not as hard as you think!
