Hello! I look forward to meeting you and your child! I'd love to do introductions in person, but let me tell you a few things about me:  I am a Michigan-born twenty-something who recently got married. Before moving to Kentwood to live with my husband, I taught piano at Marshall Music in Kalamazoo and was an Administrative Assistant at a local church for about 4 years. Before that I received my Bachelors in Business Administration and a Minor in Music at Indiana Wesleyan University. I was homeschooled all the way from Kindergarten to 12th grade and graduated with my other homeschool friends.  I took piano lessons for about 20 years and learned a several things from my amazingly talented teachers. Here are a few: one, develop a relationship with your student by having conversations about everyday life, two, have a great structured reward system for students who practice, and three, ALWAYS have fun.  There are a few things on the side that I like to do or have done in the past (this information might be useful to tell your son or daughter). I was a very busy homeschool student. Sports were very important to me growing up, I did softball, volleyball and soccer. I also was highly involved in performing arts. I currently enjoy doing crafts like sewing, card making, refinishing furniture, and cooking/baking. I am also a pet lover!  I can't wait to learn more about you at our first lesson.

Excelente teacher who taught my son four years. He did not know anything when he got started and Hannah taught him to play the piano and to love music. He is loving it so much that now he plays the piano an also trombone in band too, thanks to Hannah. She is such a great teacher that I ended up taking clases too and I am loving it. She makes it really fun.

Hannah is a very sweet and patient young lady. I took piano lessons from her a few years ago. I didn't know how to read music and had never played before. At age 60 it was one of the things I wanted to accomplish on my bucket list. She helped me achieve that. I highly recommend her for anyone. Young or old!
