I am a violinist, music composer, and recording artist. I recently graduated from Berklee College of Music where I studied Music Composition for Film, TV, and Games.
I have been involved in music for nearly 24 years. I started learning violin at the age of three using the Suzuki Method and by the age of five I had gotten into fiddling. I attended my first fiddle contest shortly thereafter and won numerous awards throughout the years, including New Mexico State Grand Champion Fiddler over all ages three years in a row (when I was 10, 11, and 12). I performed a lot when I was younger, for small and large audiences across the United States. I have performed with duets, trios, quartets, bands, and orchestras. I was Assistant Concert Mistress for the Modesto Junior College Orchestra, and won the Best Classical Performance for the Humanities Competition there at MJC.
I found a love for composing when I was young, and this has stuck with me throughout the years. I have written solo pieces for violin, piano and violin duets, as well as large orchestral pieces for film projects I have worked on. This is a passion of mine that I continue to develop and grow.
I have recorded and produced five of my own personal albums. In my recordings, I have also performed on various instruments including piano, mandolin, voice, and African Djembe drum. The styles of music I have recorded and performed include fiddle, classical, celtic, jazz, blues, swing, and lots in between. I have taught violin to individual students as well as groups for beginning and intermediate students.
I have a wealth of knowledge in music and I would love to pass my knowledge on to those who would love to learn. I look forward to meeting you!
