Ballet with Haley W.

Hi! I have been dancing for 20 years and teaching for 7 years to both kids and adults. I am currently a part of a local dance company called EncounteredHeart Ministries. I absolutely love dancing, and I'm passionate about other people learning how to dance and move their bodies as well. My favorite styles are contemporary, ballet and jazz. I love teaching improv & exploratory movement and strength & conditioning as well. I have a BS in Applied Health Science from Messiah College, which has allowed me to teach dance safely and learn how to prevent injuries in my students, as well as know and understand the most effective ways to stretch and strengthen. Dance can be perceived as intimidating, hard, and uncomfortable. I LOVE teaching my students that EVERYONE can dance. Dancing is about learning something new, expressing yourself, and finding JOY in moving your body. Come dance with me!
