Violin with Haley U.

I am a professional violist and I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts in Music Performance degree from University of Minnesota in 2015. There, I studied with Korey Konkol. My favorite way to perform as a violist is in a pit orchestra, for musicals or operas. I am a member of the Central Texas Philharmonic (formerly Round Rock Symphony) but I am also active as a freelance musician outside of the symphony season. I love teaching beginners because the foundation of music lessons is the most important part of education. It is important to me that my students enjoy their time practicing and taking lessons. Practicing is hard work but that doesn't mean it's not a ton of fun! I hope to inspire you to find joy in the practicing and rehearsal process, which, to me, is even more important than the performance itself. I look forward to meeting you and helping you discover your passion as a new violist.
