Classical Piano with Hakim A.

For as long as I can remember, piano has always been a great part of my life. I am now a virtuoso concert pianist and I've played in many concerts around the world (US, France, Morocco, Italy, Hungary, UK). Playing in concerts and performing has been my joy for so long as they have opened a whole new world for me, a world where I can be as free and open as I can be. Ever since I was a little kid, I would participate in international competitions and I have won many of them such as The Royal Piano Competition and the Grand piano Virtuso competition. I have won many other national competitions as well. For me winning is not the goal, the goal is to play from the heart, although that sounds cheesy, its true. Playing from the heart not only means feeling every note but also understanding every note and phrase. I've been teaching for over 7 years now and my students have also won many competitions. I always want the best for my students and always go above and beyond to make sure they go from learning simple scales and chords to learning beautiful and stunning pieces. Another thing I love doing is playing in concerts with an orchestra. Nobody can describe the feeling of playing in an orchestra with music all around you from many different instruments, feeling every violin and how it interacts with a clarinet or a flute. The beauty of that is only felt by pianists who have played with an orchestra before. That is why I teach my students pieces to play with the orchestra so that they feel the real power of music.
