Flute with Gwen C.

A recent graduate from Baldwin Wallace University and Conservatory, I am a K-12 music teacher with a focus in instrumental music. I have studied the flute with a number of great professors across the country as well as a semester of studies through the Paris Conservatory in 2019. I first started my journey in music with the violin at the age of 7, taking private lessons and participating in my local youth orchestra, before learning the flute a few years later. Through my 15 years of experience, I have had a number of amazing opportunities such as performing with renowned musicians, participating in a variety of ensembles and working with some of the best music educators and directors. I firmly believe that everyone can be a successful musician when they put their mind to it. In my music lessons, you will see and hear improvement in your technique, tone and music reading skills with every lesson. We will explore more than just the instrument alone. We will dig deep into how the flute works, the theory and history behind the music, and more. I believe in catering lessons to the individual – you have a voice in what music you would like to learn and what musical topics you want to learn more about.
