I started teaching in 2004 while I was performing as a young adult and attended Juilliard School for 3 years by then. Right before Juilliard School I was fresh off the boat from Uzbekistan in 2000 where I studied in a specialized music school which provided me with an opportunity to move to the United States in order to continue my studies at Juilliard School. I went on to get a Piano Performance degree at a different college because I was fortunate enough to get a full scholarship there and I said my goodbyes to Juilliard school. While I was in college I started teaching and then I realized that I will not be practicing 5 hours a day anymore because I wanted to teach more. I graduated and then a few years later I decided to get certified as a music teacher and I did! Today I live and teach in Albany NY and enjoy my life with my husband and our 3 pets:)+ Read More
I had a great lesson and didn’t expect the time to go by so quickly. I had a 30min lesson with Nora and she was very thourough and took time to let me digest things slowly. Look forward to next lesson!
I had my first lesson yesterday and I was very happy with how it went. Nora has a positive and engaging approach to teaching, I felt very relaxed and really enjoyed my lesson. Look forward to it next week:)
