- Teaching since:
I am a 25 year old, French-American, active professional guitarist specialized in Jazz and Funk. I recently graduated from the Music Academy International in France, sister school of Berklee College of Music.
I started guitar at 11 years old and was 100% self-taught before going to music school at age 23. And guess what? By the middle of the program, I was asked to become a teacher of the school I was studying at. Crazy isn't it ?
This wasn't because I was a genius of any kind, but because of my teaching passion and skills, which became popular among students I was helping. I was known to explain well, and make things clear and understandable to everyone. At the end of 2017 I wrote a book focused on self-taught musicians which is the process of publication in France and in the USA.
I do not say that to brag in any way... Teaching is actually very humbling and I will always work hard to make sure everyone with passion and energy, can unlock all their musical potential.
Endorsement by the school and certification as one of their quality teacher for the writing of my book.
Where to start? Guillaume is an amazing teacher! He is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about teaching others. I come from absolutely no background in music so I was starting from ground zero when we started music theory. In a short amount of time, I've learned more than I could have imagined. I particularly have found a lot of progress with ear training! Guillaume's strongest qualities as a teacher is his ability to explain concepts in a clear, concise manner and he always creates a productive, encouraging learning environment.
I highly recommend anyone to take lessons from him, as he is result driven and invests his entire self into helping others learn music. Thank you, Guillaume! I feel lucky to learn from such a talented, good hearted and patient teacher!
Guillaume is a very good instructor he is a very skilled guitarist and is very patient with his students
