I truly feel that voice lessons are a collaborative experience for both teacher and student. I want to get to know you and your voice and help you develop your own stand-out musical style! I am a professional singer based in Astoria, Queens. Regardless of style, I believe the foundation of good singing is a healthy technique. As a performer I mainly sing opera and musical theater, but have experience and love to teach all styles including pop, rock, and jazz in addition to opera and musical theater. Students often seek me out to help prepare for contests and auditions, as one of my strengths as a teacher is coaching a confident, authentic, and thoroughly prepared performance. It is important that voice teachers back-up their instruction with performance experience. I am a teacher who loves to perform, and looks for creative ways and places to make music. I have performed all over the country and organized recitals in all kinds of spaces ranging from concert halls to art galleries to coffee shops. Come get creative with me!
