    Featured in PBS' Great Performances: Live From Lincoln Center telecast of New York City Opera's "The Magic Flute"; the Spoleto Festival's Italian telecast of "The Girl of the Golden West", directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Bruce Beresford; the UC Davis Symphony's film of "Duke Bluebeard's Castle"; the American premiere of Garcia's "Requiem" at Carnegie Hall; Scotland's Edinburgh Festival production of "The Consul," cast and directed by the composer, Gian Carlo Menotti; and, in NPR broadcasts of 15 of his 30 roles with San Francisco Opera; bass Gregory Stapp has performed with 100+ American arts groups including the Philadelphia Orchestra and San Francisco Symphony, as well as in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Japan and China. He graduated from Loretto Heights College and the Academy of Vocal Arts; was appointed to the San Francisco Opera/Affiliate Artists–Opera Program; received one of SFO's inaugural Adler Fellowships; and, won prizes from the Metropolitan Opera, Baltimore Opera, Sullivan Musical Foundation and National Institute for Music Theatre. He was vocal music director of "My Fair Lady" and "Jesus Christ Superstar" for Cherry Creek High School; taught Conducting and directed the Jazz Choir at Loretto Heights College; taught Voice at Indiana University; and, taught Conducting, Voice, Music History, Opera Workshop, Film Music History at Notre Dame de Namur University, where he also directed and conducted Opera Scenes programs and conducted "The Marriage of Figaro." He's also taught voice privately for 40 years and his students have found joy and success. Gregory teaches regularly in Aurora, CO and Monument, CO, serving the communities and surrounding environs of metropolitan Denver and Colorado Springs.
