I've been playing guitar since I was 9, drums since I was 11, and bass for approximately 20 years. I began teaching elementary school music K-8 when I was still in college in 1975. The reason I chose not to pay for a background check is my safety record with youth is unmatched. I was a Boy Scout leader and currently run a non-profit that helps youth who age out of foster care. Musically, I've arranged for small combos and full orchestras, logged countless hours in recording studios, and written and produced commercials for radio. I've had 50 years of pure joy playing music and would like to have the opportunity to share that joy with you.
