I've taught at the college level here in the U.S. and at the University of Salzburg in Salzburg, Austria , bringing high school and college students to study for one month performing classical, jazz and folk music and having my students perform at local venues. What a blast for the students!!
If your interested in a serious learning experience and having fun doing it, please give me a shoutout !! Greg Koss/Executive Director/ Koss Music and Cultural Arts Institute
- Teaches students:
- Ages 5+ and special needs
- Teaching since:
The most important thing in teaching privately is having a solid communication between teacher and student. Patience is the essence in establishing that rapport.
I tell parents when they start their kids with music lessons , that I will guarantee that they will practice and learn. Three months later, they come back to me and tell me that their kids are practicing without them having to be told, and that their ready for recital. I have 30 years of teaching experience that helps me communicate with all levels of students.
Everyday I get parents that walk into my institute and tell me, Mr. Koss , my kids have been taking lessons (at another place) for the last two years and my neighbor kids just started with you two months ago, and my neighbor kids are already playing better then my kids, so can we quit wasting time and money and sign up with you!!
If your interested in a serious learning experience and having fun in the process, please give me the opportunity to enrich your life with the language of the human race.........the language of music !

My daughter has been taking lessons from Greg for 2 years now. He is a very patient and talented instructor. My daughter was entry level when starting and now she is playing many pop songs and excelling in reading sheet music. Greg also has a kids rock school where she plays guitar and sings which really helps to keep the kids engaged in their music. I highly recommend Greg.+ Read More
