I'm a soloist and collaborative pianist, recording engineer, and teacher! I graduated with my B.Mus. in Piano Performance from Rice University Shepherd School of Music in Spring 2020 and am an incoming M.Mus. student at the University of Colorado Boulder, studying Collaborative Piano. I became a teacher because I believe everyone holds unique and precious gifts and creative ideas, and want to encourage and guide individuals to feel confident in their gifts and apply them to music! I believe music is such a joy to be shared to the world, and we all have the potential to share! I offer well-rounded instruction which delves not only into just playing piano, but also into music theory, history, science, technology, and physical exercises (e.g. dance and yoga), connecting these fields to the art of playing piano. I believe all fields are connected and I customize my lesson plan to every student on an individual basis to make lessons fun and rich in helpful material. I aim to help students with diverse assignments that will help them meet their goals, small or large. I am LGBT+ friendly and want to create a welcoming environment for ALL students regardless of background or experience!
