I have played the piano since 2006, and plan to continue studying it for many years to come. As early as age 7, I performed in front of 700+ people regularly, and this eventually prepared me for my participation in a piano performance competition at age 9 at the II Division Dallas Solo Competition in which I received the 4th place. In 2015, I joined with Liberty Highschool's Symphony Orchestra to perform internationally at a conference in Chicago. During this time, I officially became a part of my high school's orchestra as a pianist; I perform regularly, and have been requested to accompany soloists that play for Solo and Ensemble, or All-State, as well as musicals in school. I have been under the instruction of Eva Li, Oksana Illiasevich, Khanh Vu, and currently, a doctorate of piano performance, Yuki Kumamoto. I also studied under Do Vy Ha at The Sacred Heart of Jesus in the Vietnamese community to learn about piano improvisation, transposition, and technique where I accompany for 3 choirs. I plan on continuing my education in music as a Music Minor at the University of Texas at Dallas and pursue the pre-med track as an aspiring Obstetrician. As a University student, I view this job opportunity as a way for me to grow as a person, and encourage young children, and all kids alike to discover their abilities and talents in music. Piano is a passion for me, and I'd love to be able to share this passion with my students.+ Read More
