Pianist Grace L. holds a Masters degree in piano performance from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. Began playing piano at the age of four, Grace has been maintaining a piano studio with students of all ages and levels of ability for the past several years. Currently, Grace is pursuing her Doctoral of Musical Arts degree at Peabody Institute. *** Lesson Details *** During the first lesson, I will discuss with the student about their personal goal. I would like to see what the students have been working on and I will suggest materials that will help the students to develop their musicianship. My lessons are usually pretty laid back. However, I do expect student to come with some preparation. I believe that strong foundation is very important for young children. Ear training, sight-reading, music theory, and technique will all be covered in our sessions. Every session students will be assigned pieces to work on throughout the week.
