I came to Gonca as an adult learner and with absolutely zilch in the way of musical background. Gonca has been very patient with me, and impressed me with her ability to frame a lesson in several different ways to help me to understand a topic or skill, for example, sharing articles and cognitive tricks related to training when she heard me asking about the "why" of things often. She is incredibly talented, rigorous, and passionate as a teacher and as a musician. I recommend her to others at every opportunity.

Gonca was one of the best music instructors I had! As an adult learner, I had some hesitations taking classes. However, with Gonca's passion, encouragement and patience, I enjoyed the classes greatly and felt more confident about my skills. I would recommend her to any one I know at every age group.

I started playing the cello when I was 14 under Gonca's instruction. I am now 25 and proud to have been her student as long as I was. I was blessed with the fortune to study under a teacher with so much compassion and passion for teaching, as well as the wherewithal to tailor her teaching as I grew into an adult. Now I enjoy performing, and exploring the cello's repertoire as my skills continue to improve.
