Hello, my name is Gloria, and I specialize in private instrument lessons. I have a wide variety of knowledge with all instruments. My primary instrument is the cello, which I received my Bachelor of Music in Performance for. I have been playing the cello for 27 years. I have extensive performance experience, including performances with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and various chamber ensembles. Music is my passion. I currently teach middle school band for grades 6-8, and middle school orchestra grades 5-8. I teach all levels, and all age-ranges. I would love to have the opportunity to work with you and tailor the lessons to fit your needs. I truly believe that anyone can learn to play an instrument, no exceptions. Playing an instrument is rewarding and exciting. No matter what skill level you are at, you are always learning. Although at times it may be challenging, it is also very rewarding to set your own goals, push yourself, and see your own progress. I want to help foster your growth as a musician. Music is part of everyday life, and I would love to have the opportunity to share my passion for music with you, and help you succeed to be the best player you can be.
