As your instructor, I will teach you the fundamentals to playing guitar along with how to approach learning a new instrument. I aspire to teach any age that wants to learn, whether you are a beginner or you would like to improve basic skills. If this is your first time learning guitar, I will demonstrate basic chord structure, strumming patterns, as well as being able to read and write tablatures. If you have ever listened to a song and wondered how to play it, I will help teach you the skills to play music by ear as well. I hope that you will leave my lessons with an expansion of musical knowledge and excitement to express your own musical ideas. The skills I would teach you will follow you for a lifetime: from teaching you how to play your favorite song to showing you how to improvise and let loose in a jam session with your friends. My goal is to not only teach you how to play guitar, but also show you how to create your own music, develop your own style, and learn the fundamentals of songwriting. I have had a passion for guitar for many years, and I want to help others who share this same passion.
