I'm an italian girl, I was born in Rome where I lived till the age of 19.
I then moved to a smaller town named Viterbo (you should totally google it, it's so pretty!) where I attended college. I graduated with my BA in 2014 and my MA in 2016. I studied Foreign Languages (French and German, but I'm also fluent in English, and speak good enough Spanish. I like to brag).
During my time in college I traveled a lot and got a chance to study abroad, first in Germany, then France, and I did an internship in Belgium. So much fun!
I moved to Las Vegas in 2016, got addicted to gambling so I had to leave (I'm kidding, I can't even play poker), and recently moved to the beautiful city of New Orleans where I'm doing my PhD in French Studies.
In case this wasn't clear, I am passsionate about languages, cultures, and literature!
In college I was part of a language exchange program, so I taught Italian to many american college students, and got to practice my English and Spanish with them as well. I did the same while I was in Germany, I gave Italian conversation lessons in exchange for German. So no matter what your language background is, I can help you learning Italian the best way for you! Of course that implies letting you know that no italian knows what Alfredo sauce is, and that if you order a Pepperoni in Italy you will get a pizza topped with bell peppers, so be prepared to reconsider your beliefs!
If you are already a pro and just need some practice, I'd be happy to give pure conversation lessons.
I love traveling, going to the gym, I am a tv show-junkie, I like to read, to watch movies, to cook, etc. We can talk about all this and about anything you like or want to practice on!
I worked at my University helping outgoing students with forms, documents and tips for their semester or year abroad, and helping incoming students getting scholarships.
I did an internship in Belgium where my main role was to organise trips and cultural activities.
For this internship my main role was to research articles on immigration through different online foreign magazines, translating them from French/Spanish/English to Italian, and use these sources to write my own articles and publish them on the company website.+ Read More
