Piano with Giorgi M.

My name is Giorgi Mikadze. I am a professional pianist, composer, arranger and educator. Last year, I completed graduate degree in Jazz Performance (Pianist) from Manhattan School of Music, with focus in composition. Before that, I studied at Berklee College of music, with double major in performance and composition. I received full scholarship throughout my study in both schools. I have toured and performed with many Grammy winners, and Sympohny orchestras including Jack  Dejohnette, Lee Retenour, Roy Hargrove, and others. In addition, I have developed interest in teaching, having given masterclasses at universities such as Berklee, USC, UCLA, Beijing Conservatory, Ilia state university, Tbilisi State Conservatoire. This summer, I was invited at Berklee College of Music as a visiting professor, where I taught theory, ear training, Jazz Ensembles, and private piano lessons. in search for performance opportunities, . I am also interested to share my experience with musicians who want to develop their skills as performers and composers.
