Hello! I've been a music educator, teaching piano, songwriting, theory, and singing for more than 15+ years. I especially enjoy working with children of all ages! I hold a Masters of Music from University of Cincinnati in Conducting and a Bachelor of Arts from the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing, China. Currently, I am a composer at BMI Lehman Engel Advanced Musical Theater Workshop and was a choral conductor in NYC for more than 5+ years. For families looking for a more structured lesson, I also hold a Piano Performance Diploma in ABRSM, and am familiar with the NYSSMA evaluation system. Music provides a space for children to safely express their emotions, a way to find their voice, and provide challenges that in the end encourages growth, maturity and well, joy! When I'm not teaching or writing music... I read, drink coffee and hang out with my two cats.
