    About Gette L.

Gette Levy is an art therapist currently seeking her master's in art therapy at School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has over 20 years of fiber arts experience and has been nationally exhibited in theaters across the west cost. A published comic book artist, she works in a variety of mediums. She has extensive experience working with children and adults of all ages in a variety of educational, clinical and studio settings. Artistically, she has sought to bring the worlds and cultures that have surrounded her together in explosions of color and juxtapositions of texture. Artistic expression breaks boundaries and defies media. Gette’s work can be found splashing across the stage, perched upon the page, blasted through comic books, woven in the fiber arts, breathing new life into up-cycled sustainable art installations, punctuating pop-up funnies, and clarifying educational notation in morphologically descriptive diagrams.
