Painting with Gerri H.

Hi there! I am Gerri Hyman and first and foremost.... I love to paint! I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Advertising and later received my art education certification from Lander University. I taught elementary art lessons for several years before having my 3 sons.... 2 of whom are also artists! My youngest is a sophomore on an art scholarship to the University of Texas (Austin) and is a studio art major! ! continued to teach after-school private lessons to my children and many others for about 10 years. Twelve years ago, I started my own wholesale art business where I sell reproductions of my paintings on lots of products: placemats, pillows, floor mats, canvas pieces and a lot more.... I currently sell to around 150 retailers in the US and Canada. And... I am an Etsy artist with a successful shop! I teach around 25 adults in evening art classes currently and absolutely love watching them improve each week! We usually paint step-by-step and then I set them free to add their own unique touches to their works. Not only is it a ton of fun, but they constantly tell me how much they are learning and enjoying the painting experience. I'd love to teach you and am great with children and adults... having had lots of experience teaching both! Let's Paint!!
