Common Core Math with Georgia H.

Georgia has been teaching in the NYC public schools since 2012 and privately since 2009. She has a Masters of Education in Curriculum Design from Columbia, for which she wrote her thesis on new directions in special education. She enjoys teaching both math and literacy and finding each student's unique path to loving learning. Georgia has an arsenal of strategies for students with special needs, those who have trouble focusing, and anyone who has ever said "I can't." Some students just don't respond to the teaching methodologies common in most schools--Georgia finds another way. She is patient, creative, and a little bit silly, and looks forward to meeting you!
