I have been a professional musician for 22+ years. I received my Bachelor & Masters degrees in Music Performance from Duquesne University, studying bass guitar, double bass, & jazz guitar. I have studied bass with Jeff Berlin & Jeffrey Mangone, and jazz guitar with Joe Negri & Tony Janflone, Sr. I studied arranging & Composition with Mike Tomaro. In 2005, I was a finalist in the Bass Extremes International Solo Bass Competition, hosted by Victor Wooten & Steve Bailey. I have performed 3000+ shows throughout the country ranging from my current band, North of Mason Dixon (NOMaD)- whom I record & tour with, and artists such as the River City Brass Band, guitarist Tony Janflone, Jr., Bo Wagner's 'Sinatra', Sean Jones. I've played just about styles of music including jazz, classical, rock, blues, gospel, contemporary Christian, Latin/Caribbean, country. I have taught hundreds of students over the years, many of them going on to the university level, and pursuing their own careers in music. But I am especially proud to have been able to share music with people of all ages and walks of life in their goal of enriching their lives with playing guitar or bass!
