As a choir director at the church, it is my job to pick out and teach songs that appropriate for the liturgical season in the church. I am also, responsible for teaching basic music concepts such as singing techniques, how to read music, and music terminology.

Choir Director

As a singing instructor, I am tasked with preparing lesson plans for beginner and intermediate level students over a course of a  three-month time period. During the three months, I teach students the basic foundations of singing, voice maintenance, and three pieces for their repertoire.

During my time as a private Instructor, I taught several voice students for hour long lessons. And during my time as an instructor, I prepared several of my students for formal events such as weddings and voice recitals.

I have been singing for seven years, my background includes two Mozart operas, three musicals, and several weddings and funerals. My main emphasis, however, lies in classical singing where I studied under several professional opera singers. As a teacher, I have been teaching officially for four years. Therefore, Students can expect to receive custom designed singing lessons tailored for their specific voice, expand their range, and learn singing secrets.

Hi, my name is Gary Rodriguez, and it is my understanding that you are in need of a music instructor. Here is how I can help solve your problems. I have my associates in music and I am qualified to teach beginning to intermediate singing, beginning guitar, as well as beginning to intermediate music theory. Not only am I qualified in these areas, I also have credible experience as the director of the youth choir at my church.
My goal is to educate youth, as well as adults, and to promote unity and understanding through music.
